The definition of minimalism
There’s a definition on Wikipedia which describes minimalism as “movements in various forms of art and design, especially visual art and music, where the work is set out to expose the essence or identity of a subject through eliminating all non-essential forms, features or concepts. ” I wrote that definition.
However, I do not longer use it – It is flawed and semantically crooked.
The definition I now propagandize is much more elegant: Minimalism is the concept of minimizing distractions from what’s truly valuable or essential.
